I've recently started collecting 78 rpms and would like to know how to properly care for them. I have alot of lps (33s) but am not sure if the storage etc is the same for 78s since the materials used to make them is different. any help would be appreciated.

you'll want to store them in a dry environment with a moderate regulated temperature, away from a heating vent, AC unit, windows, you don't want sunlight hitting them for any length of time, and store them like you would books on a bookshelf, and not stacked. Also, get those anti static clear record sleeves and store each one in it's own sleeve. Finally, be sure that the needle on your turntable is in good shape. A diamond point stylus is best.
